Cozy Home Performance uses the most effective products and materials in the home performance industry. Our primary insulation material, Cel-pak blown in cellulose, is made in Belchertown, MA by National Fiber. It is made from yesterdays Boston Globe and other regional newspapers.

Other materials we use such as closed-cell foam and polystyrene rigid foam board are less green in the manufacturing process, but are used consciously in ways that lower your energy bills and correspondingly save CO2 emissions. We use energy intensive materials when we are fully confident that the resulting energy saved or health related improvements will offset the substantial embodied energy of the product.
