We are always checking to see if more financial incentives become available that can be leveraged by our clients. Federal Tax Credits-
Tax credits are available at 30% of the cost, up to $500 in 2011 for:
* Insulation
* HVAC
* Water Heaters (non-solar)
* Windows and Doors
Massachusetts Residential Projects- 1-4 unit buildings
Mass Save is the rate-payer funded utility energy efficiency program.
Cozy Home Performance is a participating air sealing and insulation contractor with the Mass Save program. We can work with you to get the most value from your Mass Save incentives.
- up to 8 hours of program sponsored air sealing (approx. $600 value)
- 75% up to $2,000 for approved insulation measures
- 0% financing up to $25,000 for qualifying measures
2011 Gas Networks Rebate Info
For 2011, Columbia Gas and Berkshire Gas are offering very generous rebates for high efficiency heating and hot water equipment. Even HRVs and boiler reset controls can receive rebates. With these rebates, installing a high efficiency system that is properly sized to meet the heating and hot water needs of your household makes a lot of sense. Cozy Home does not install heating equipment, but we do have a network of quality contractors that we can refer you to. It is important to note that high efficiency heating equipment will only run at stated efficiency levels if the thermal boundary (building insulation boundary) is adequate. In other words, the heating system must be integrated with the thermal boundary system.
